When I was younger weaves was my thing! From sewins, to caps, to blendins, it didn't matter. Anything that was longer than my natural length was EVERYTHING. Not that I was insecure but I just love the look that I had with any length that was longer than my own hair. Back than I wasn't into full weaves so I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS had to have some of my hair left out so it can look a little natural.
Although I love the look, I couldn't stand the fact that my natural hair wasn't laying on top of the weaves like the first two days of me getting it done. So by the third day, my hair was looking like 'but did you really get it done??'. 🤔..Oh and dont let a tab of water get on my hair from the shower or the weather!!!! It's OVER. 🙄I would press it every other day just so it can look fresh especially when I had somewhere to be. In the end my front was bald and my back was long, so I had a mullet!👇🏾
Yeah, so my hair looked like this 👆🏾by the time I took my weaves out! But this couldn't be my life. I had to get myself together because it's noooo way my hair was going stay like this!!😢
Once my hair grew back, I put these 3 simple steps into practice so I wouldn't have to deal with the nonsense.💅🏾
