Some people sebaeous glands seceret more oil into the scalp than the average amount. What this does is create build up on top of the various products being used with petroleum or alcohol on the scalp. Than you'll start to see medium to big flakes, that's why your hair will be greasy but your scalp will be flaky.
Ok, so a dry scalp is tiny patches of skin removing itself for the new skin. This condition may cause some itchiness. Sounds crazy, right?!😷 This is a continuous thing so it's perfectly normal in mild cases of dry scalp. In severe cases, dry scalp is followed up with extreme itchiness, redness and sometimes swolleness.
